An Outpost isn't a support group and it isn't a networking mixer. It's a professional, restorative space where autonomy is respected, not just recovered from. Allies gather, collaborate, and build real social capital, then go back to running their own practice. Easing isolation is a natural byproduct. It isn't the point.

Outposts run on the same three Pillars as everything else in the Alliance. Here's what that looks like in a room, not a brochure.

Somatic Sovereignty
After-hours socials, Coworking coffees, and small intimate lunches fill most of the calendar. Outposts tend to have some anchor events too such as Outpost Anniversary, a Friendsgiving potluck, or retreats. These are low lift, high turnout, the kind of events where a first-time visitor becomes a regular. When the weather holds, expect a hike, a paddle, or a tubing run down whatever river is closest.
Collaborative Learning
Self-Leadership
Cross-sectional sessions on AI, leadership, marketing, and other practical skills, run by Allies, for Allies. Nobody's selling a course here. It's the same peer-taught approach the whole Alliance runs on, just in a room instead of an inbox.

Sovereign Career
Habitat for Humanity builds, food bank shifts, environmental cleanups, workforce development projects. This is where an Outpost's reputation gets built in the wider city, not just among its own members, exactly the kind of local visibility a remote career rarely gets by accident.

The Alliance is a federation, not a franchise. Every Outpost is founded and run independently by a local Vanguard, and starting one is more accessible than most people assume.
STEP 1
Talk to a Vanguard Coach
No business plan required. A short conversation about your city, your goals, and what support looks like.
STEP 2
Set up your Meetup group
Thrive Remotely passes through a reduced network rate, $25 a month instead of the standard $45, at cost. Approval typically takes about a day.
STEP 3
Run your first event
Social and low-stakes. A coworking coffee or a casual meetup is enough to prove the concept and see who shows up.
You're not on your own. New Outpost Vanguards get onboarding coaching calls and join a standing monthly call with every other Outpost Vanguard in the network. A website isn't required to start, most Outposts run entirely on Meetup.
