2024 was the year our Upstate SC Digital Nomads chapter truly found its rhythm! From cozy coffee chats to lively brewery meetups, we’ve built a community that’s equal parts connection and fun. Watching remote workers step out of their comfort zones, make friends, and support each other has been inspiring. Here’s to even more laughs, conversations, and growth in 2025!
Triangle Remote Workers & Digital Nomads, Raleigh, NC
This year Triangle Remote Workers celebrated its third anniversary and held more than 100 events, setting a new record, widening the circumference of our reach in the Triangle area and broadening our event types. We also held our third retreat and got to meet our lovely counterparts in Asheville. Hoping to do it again next year!

We underwent a transformative 2024, welcoming new leadership and an energized organizing team. Our community flourished with over 24 dynamic events throughout the year, while the launch of our Discord server created a digital hub for continuous connection. With a surge in membership and unprecedented engagement, we've built a vibrant community that's redefining remote work in Philadelphia.
North Austin Digital Nomads, Austin, TX
With the launch of the new Austin chapter in September, we've been excited to check out some local hangs and events like a vinyl record night and a trivia night (compliments of Geeks who Drink). Better yet, we're working our way towards making some new friends and building a community of awesome people.
ILM Digital Nomads, Wilmington, NC
Out of a desire to cultivate a fulfilling and enriching community, the ILM Digital Nomads chapter was born in May of 2024. Within seven months, the group held 20 events and grew to over 100 members! We've checked out neat spots all around Wilmington through a variety of events, such as happy hours, coffee chats, breakfasts/lunches, game nights, coworking days, and trivia nights. With each event, we are making connections and growing our incredible community. Our potential is evident - cheers to 2025!

This fall, we launched the Charlotte chapter of Digital Nomads, and in just a few months, our community has begun to thrive. Monthly happy hours have sparked meaningful connections, setting the stage for friendships and growth. We’re excited about the incredible potential of our group and can’t wait to see what 2025 will bring!

In 2024, We hosted 30 events in Chicago, blending in-person and virtual formats to build a thriving community. From collaborating on workshops to meeting attendees from across the globe, every event was a chance to learn, connect, and grow. Trivia nights, heartfelt conversations, and shared creativity reminded us how vibrant and dynamic this city is. Chicago isn’t just a place—it’s a hub for connection, and we're proud to be part of it.
