April 2025: Designing A Remote Life You Love: Six Months In
A chance to ask yourself, is the remote life I’m living actually mine?

Six months ago, Thrive Remotely sent out it’s first newsletter.
Not with all the answers, but with a hope: that they could create a space where remote workers feel seen. Supported. Invited to do more than just work differently, but to live differently too.
Since then, you’ve opened these emails from airports and Airbnbs, coworking desks and dining room tables. You’ve read them in between Zoom calls, late at night, or during the quiet moments between meetings and meaning-making.
And whether you’ve been here since day one or just got here. I'm genuinely glad you're here. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned reading your stories, it’s this:
Remote work doesn’t automatically lead to a better life. But it can, when we slow down long enough to design it with care.
If we stop trying to replicate the office at home.
If we stop measuring our worth by our output.
If we start asking: What do I actually want my days to feel like? (truthfully, like in your body)
That’s what Designing a Remote Life You Love is really about.
It’s not about perfection.
It’s about paying attention, then making small, brave adjustments that bring you back to yourself.
As Thrive celebrates six months, I hope you’ll pause too.
To take stock, not of what you’ve produced, but of what you’ve learned about how you want to live.
This issue is a hell of a lot more of a 6 month celebration, if you allow it to be.
It’s a checkpoint.
A chance to ask yourself, is the remote life I’m living actually mine?
If it’s not, you can change it.
You’re not stuck. You’re not too late.
But no one’s coming to design it for you.
That part’s on you.
The next six months are yours to shape. What will you make of them?
